Prevention of skin from acne (Pimples)

  • Everyone is prone to getting pimples but it usually happens at a young age when the oil glands in the skin excessively produce oil.
  • Pimples formation are maybe due to genetic cause.
  • Pimples can appear on any part of the body but mostly on the face. 
  • Skin pores may trap dead skin cells, dirt, or oil which probably triggers acne. 
  • Chin, nose and forehead are more sensitive areas and prone to pimples formation as these areas contain excess oil glands.


  • Wash your face properly, this helps to remove excess dirt particles that get trap in the skin.
  • Wet your face with Luke warm water. Apply mild soap or cleaner, gently rub the face in a circular motion with the help of the fingertips.
  • Rinse your face thoroughly. 
  • Instead of rubbing your face with a towel or any other piece of cloth, pat the facial skin and let it dry in the air.
  • Avoid using harsh soap or cleanser as it extracts out the natural oils from the facial skin.
  • Know about your skin type. Oily skin is more prone to pimples formation as compared to dry skin.
  • Moisturize your skin which helps the skin to stay hydrated. Besides, commercial products honey proves to be one of the best natural cleansers and moisturizers. It keeps the skin hydrated and fresh.
  • Stay hydrated. Drink almost 8-10 glasses of water a day. Enough water in the body gives the skin a fresh, glower, and shiny look.
  • Instead of this if you stay dehydrated, this promotes inflammation and redness in the skin.
  • No doubt makeup gives glamorous look but daily usage makes the skin prone to pimples.
  • Our hands grab bacteria from different areas so avoid unnecessary touching of the hands to skin. This transfers the bacteria and causes the formation of pimples.
  • Limit your exposure to the sun. As some sun rays dehydrate your skin hence it produces more oily secretions that may block the skin pores and make it prone to pimples formation.
  • Make a habit of using sunscreens. It protects the skin from damaging sun rays and skin cancer.
  • Don’t pop up the pimples unnecessarily. This may cause bleeding or waste material from the pimples come in contact with the healthy skin and make it prone to infections or scarring.
  • Lower the intake of oily and cheesy foods. These types of food may trigger pimple formation.
  • Manage stress by doing meditation, yoga, or keeping strong spiritual beliefs.
  • Right eating also prevents the formation of pimples.
  • If you get pimples to try not to wear tight clothes this inhibits the natural breathing of the skin.
  • Avoid using any kind of spray or gel material near the facial skin as this may clog the pores in the skin.
  • Wash your hair on alternate days as oil may get travel from hair to the facial skin and triggers pimples formation.
