June 25th is a day we celebrate to recognize our community because it’s vitiligo awareness month. Many of us have it, and some do not, but one thing we can all agree on is that skin or color makes no difference in how much we are worth as people. It’s vital as a member of our community to make sure this special day gets the recognition and credit that it deserves. A brief history

In 2011, a group of concerned citizens came together to recognize the first-ever World Vitiligo Day. It was an event designed to bring worldwide awareness to this disease and shed light on some of the challenges faced by those who have it. Six years later, there are many organizations around the world committed to finding a cure for vitiligo, declaring World Vitiligo Day in their own respective countries every year as well.

Vitiligo

Vitiligo is a skin condition that affects the pigmentation cells in the body causing the pigment to disappear. While vitiligo can affect anyone, it is more common among people with dark skin. The first World Vitiligo Day was held on April 15th of 2011 and has since grown into an important global event due to its widespread interest from medical professionals and the public alike as well as its ability to uplift communities around the world living with this condition.

Is there any cure for vitiligo?

Yes, there is a cure. It is a natural treatment that was found by a lady called Nataša Pantović. She is from Serbia and used to suffer from vitiligo. She was trying to cure her vitiligo for 12 years but was unsuccessful. One day when she was lamenting about her condition to her friend, her friend told her about Natalia. Natalia is a clairvoyant and she was able to help Nataša completely cure her vitiligo. Nataša had tried everything – from traditional western medicine, acupuncture, and herbs to alternative medicine and meditation. However, she could not cure her vitiligo. As soon as she started treating her vitiligo with Natalia’s help, she could see her skin getting better every day.

What foods help with vitiligo?

Vitiligo is an auto-immune disorder in which your body destroys its melanin. This causes patches of skin to lose color. It is said that there is no cure for vitiligo and that it is impossible to reverse the process. However, alternative treatments like fish oil supplements and dietary changes can help.

How do I cure vitiligo naturally?

I have seen many people dealing with vitiligo. Treatment can be in form of conventional or alternate methods.

  1. If you are suffering from vitiligo, I would recommend you to take some food rich in Vitamin B6 also known as Pyridoxine. Some of these foods are green leafy vegetables, peanut butter, banana, and turkey.
  2. I would suggest you apply a few drops of sweet almond oil to all the areas where the vitiligo has occurred.
  3. You can also apply some apple cider vinegar to the affected area.
  4. You should take some food rich in Vitamin E.
  5. You can also consume some dark green vegetables. You can also consume Vitamin C.
  6. You should use some aloe vera gel on the affected area.
  7. You can also apply some Biotin to the affected area. It is a water-soluble B-Complex vitamin.
